Detailed Plot:
We meet the 3 Little Pigs (WE’RE THE THREE LITTLE PIGS) as they are about to discuss their plans to move out of their mamma’s house and find a place of their own. When they tell their mother, she is delighted that they are responsible enough to realize it’s time to go. She gives them helpful advice for healthy living while out on their own. One by one, the pigs encounter the Merchant (YOU NEED IT, I GOT IT), who will do or say just about anything to make a sale of candy and cigarettes--as well as sticks and bricks (SHOULD I DO IT?). The audience will help the pigs know when he is lying. One by one the pigs meet the Wolf. We discover that, under the influence of the Merchant, he just can't seem to get his life together (WOLF’S LAMENT). After the Pigs build their respective houses (GONNA BUILD A HOUSE) the wolf tries to blow them down– but can’t get up enough wind. With the help of the audience, the Pigs show the Wolf that the villainous Merchant has been feeding her head full of lies over the years and help her to change her harmful lifestyle into that of a healthy one (THE HEALTHY SONG). They confront the Merchant and help the Wolf find the strength to resist his tempting ways, which makes the Merchant leave to find others to tempt (WE’RE THE SMOKE-FREE LITTLE PIGS - FINALE).
