Three 4X8 rolling screens (two-sided flats on wheels)
Side A: forms giant Map of Kansas when placed side by side
Side B: separate maps of 1> Kansas 2> USA 3> World
Music stand and microphone stand w/microphone
Back masking flats or curtains

Original Cast: 4:   2 Men, 2 Women each played dozens of characters.  NOTE:  Cast size can be anywhere between 4 and 150!  It just depends on how much doubling you want to do.

Running Time:  55 Min.

Target Audience: Middle- and High School students.

All the major Kansas historical figures are mentioned or make cameo appearances.

Original Production
KANSANS KAN! was originally produced by the Wichita Children's Theatre Professional Touring Company for their 2006-2007 touring season. It opened October 3, 2006 and played fifty performances. It was produced by Monica Flynn, directed by the playwright, choreographed by Barb Schoenhofer, costumed by Deb Campbell, with scenic design by John Hammer. Vic May was the Tour Manager. The cast was:
