* This is the order of events when applying for and receiving our Rehearsal Materials for musicals. Each step must be thoroughly completed before we will allow the next step to begin. Time frame from Step 2 (Submit Application) to step 5 (Receive Materials) is typically two and a half weeks. Please plan your schedule accordingly. Significant fees will be charged if we have to alter or rush our processing of your order.
1.
Performance Application.
Fill out
the Performance Application and
send it to KMR Scripts.
You may send it via US Mail or
use our handy-dandy online form.
2. Contract/License. From the information you provide on your application, we will send you an invoice for the rehearsal materials and a Performance Contract, which you must sign and return with complete payment.
3. Fees & Deposits. Whether you provide this information by mail or email– all rehearsal materials and deposits must be paid and your signed contract received by our office before we will ship any rehearsal materials, however, no royalty payments are due until seven days after you open. Sorry, we don’t accept credit cards (except through PayPal) or Purchase Orders. Remember that each actor must have his/her own printed script (no copying allowed).
4. Rehearsal Materials. The usual timetable for applying, paying for, and receiving your rehearsal materials is about two and a half weeks– so please plan accordingly. It is possible to reduce the processing time to about a week via the Internet– see table below. There will be significant additional costs ($50) if we have to rush your order processing to meet your schedule.
5. Shipping. We need 7 days to prepare your rehearsal materials for shipment. They're usually ready to go the next day, but we sometimes have to wait for new materials to be printed. We use USPS Priority Mail for all our shipping. You generally receive your materials in 2-4 days from the day we mail them. If we must use a next-day service, we use USPS Express Mail. Occasionally we find that USPS doesn't offer next-day service for some towns, so then we'll usually use Fed-Ex.
6. Refunds. After we receive your rented CD and Sheet Music along with your Final Report (sent with your contract) we will refund any rental deposits you have with us. Please be certain of your choice before you order and pay the rental for a particular show. There are NO REFUNDS on rental fees for rehearsal materials once they have left our offices. Be sure to check to see if the rights to a show are available before you have your brochures printed up.
