Detailed Plot:
Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail are looking for Peter Rabbit (WHERE IS PETER RABBIT?). When he finally arrives, he tells them that he doesn’t want to go to the Bunny Parade– he wants to do something fun! For Peter Rabbit, that usually means something that will get him into trouble. The other bunnies head off for the parade while Peter heads off in the other direction (GONNA FIND SOME FUN). He ends up a Mr. McGregor’s farm. He settles down to eating some of the farmer’s vegetables when he is nearly caught. He barely escapes, leaving behind his new coat that his mother made him. On his way home, he laments about how his mother will take the news that he’s lost his new coat (I’M A DEAD DUCK). He comes across his cousin, Benjamin Bunny, who loves adventure just as much a Peter does. Benjamin talks Peter into returning to the farm to retrieve his coat (ARE YOU CHICKEN?). Just as they start eating more vegetables, they are spotted by the farmer’s cat, who traps them in a barrel. Just as the cat is about to pounce, Benjamin’s father appears and scares the cat away with a slingshot. Peter returns to his home and Benjamin accompanies his father to their home, while his father extols the benefits of obeying rules. (ONCE UPON A TIME - FINALE)
